It's time again for Vintage Thingies Thursday, hosted by the Apron Queen . Be sure to stop by her blog to check out all of the other people participating today!
Today I am going to share some of my vintage stationery- notecards, invitations, envelopes and the like. I totally scored at a thrift store a few months ago. I used to go to this store every Monday because everything was an additional 25% off. Unfortunately we've moved and it's now almost 40 miles away. And well, with the cost of gas, I just can't justify going down there anymore. Unless we're going on base anyhow and then I'll ride along with my husband.
Anyhow, one day back in February, I was shopping at this thrift store and I found a whole baggie full of these cute vintage cards. There's some blank note cards and several packages of invitations. I have no idea how old these are, probably from the 50s or 60s but I just had to have them. The whole bag was less than $1.50 and these were just too cute to pass up.
The whole lot:

Thanks for stopping by & checking out my vintage thingies today! And thanks to the Apron Queen for hosting!

What a great find! You could frame them, use them as-is, or as embellishments! The colors also match your blog colors!
Anything cats I would buy too!
They are fun, esp the vinyl record
on the party invite - that really
dates it...... :)
Hey! Congrats on finding out where the Apron Queen was vacationing! I got 2nd place.
I am big letter writer and just love your collection! Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
These are great! and you and I both have a long way to go to spruce up our craft areas. I'm not sure where to start!
