Hola, vintage peeps. Today, I'm going to participate in Vintage Thingies Thursday, hosted by the lovely Colorado Lady. Please stop in and visit!!
Today, I'm showcasing my love affair with vintage towels. The patterns are so fab!
The colors are (mostly) delicious!
The quality is unlike anything you'll find today, as evidenced by the fact that these babies are still in great condition some 40 years later.
Towels I bought 3 years ago are not in this same condition. It's true when they say "they just don't make 'em like they used to". Sad, isn't it?
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my vintage towel collection. Find towels like this in my Etsy shop!

My. What beauties! These remind me of the towels my grandma had...they always smelled so fresh!! These are wonderful. Lucky you!! Happy VTT!
I have never seen such pretty, colorful towels. Very nice.
I always try to pick those up too to use camping-such great patterns!

Just imagine the store shelves of bath towels back then. They must have been delicious.
What a beautiful collection! Reminds me of treasures from my mother's collection. Happy Rednesday. -Lola @ Lolarati
The colors are fab too--especially the red ones!
ENAMORED OF RED
Enamored of red
I lie in my bed,
Dreaming of cherry-filled crèmes;
For red’s a fine shade,
The prettiest made,
And gives me the sweetest of dreams.

Yes, they do remind me of towels when I was young , that was the 1960's.
Great collection.
Don't you love the bright colors and wild designs in the beach towels? I think I remember having some of those years ago.
